These units combine the sensing, measuring and alarm output into one compact unit. Vibration switches are designed for demanding environments with NEMA 4 and explosion proof enclosures.

Limits of vibration are manually adjusted. In some models this is done in two levels. The first is when vibration becomes high enough to warrant attention. The second level is when the vibration becomes so high that the machine is shut down. These points are preset in the switch. An analog output signal can be used to track the vibration level.
