Power conveyors are the backbone of today’s warehousing and distribution industry.
Three ways of powering the conveyor are available. A belt to carry the product is great for straight sections, but difficult in curves. Belt drive is also used to drive a set of rollers from underneath.
The lineshaft drive is complex, but the most flexible for curves, spurs and accumulators.
For heavy loads, the chain drive is usually the answer.
The sorter is used for pushing product from one conveyor to another.
