Laboratory Ovens

Compare LABORATORY OVENS that are ovens for the laboratory environment, The oven temperatures range from 65 to 700 C (150 to 1300 F) The oven temperature controller can be set point which means that the oven will go and stay at a preset temperature until the power is turned off. Another controller option is a programmable controller. Different temperature levels and time intervals at these temperatures can be preset

Bench Top Ovens

The most common bench top ovens are natural convection ovens. Here the hot air rises and some escapes. Thee ovens have high temperature variation throughout. The forced air bench ovens have a circulating fan which moves the air vertically or horizontally through the oven. This gives more consistent temperature in the oven. The lab bench top ovens come with a stainless steel interior and metal, painted exterior.

Inert Atmosphere Ovens

Inert atmosphere ovens are designed with air tight door seals and fitting for inert gas to enter the oven. The internal atmosphere is designed for oxygen sensitive material and special atmosphere treatment. The most common atmosphere is nitrogen.

Laboratory Vacuum Ovens

LABORATORY VACUUM OVENS are used for special treatment of sensitive material. The ovens have special door seals and wall structure to hold a vacuum. Special fittings connect to a vacuum pump to draw down the air in the oven
