When the automatic L sealer is loaded the seal arm lowers pneumatically. When the sealing is complete, the package moves automatically to the shrink station.
In addition to electric power, an air line with at least 80 psi is required.
Impulse Wire. This is heated only when a seal and cut operation is in progress. After the cut, the heating energy is removed form the wire. This provides a significant safety feature as well as energy savings.
Hot Wire. This is heated in the machine startup cycle and remains hot and ready for used until the L Sealer is shutdown. Maintenance strategy should include wire life cycle planning.
The Hot Knife method is similar to the Hot Wire in that it remains hot while the L Sealer is in use. This method eliminates Hot Wire life cycle replacement maintenance.
