Strapping large quantities of product on a pallet, or unitizing, requires a large frame with strapping material that can withstand a high level of tension.

The unitizer consists of a large frame. The load is placed inside the frame and the plastic strap is fed around the load. The seal of each strap is either on the top or the side of the load and machines are designed to do one or the other.

The tension with which a load is held together is important and with most machines the force can be adjusted.
