Industrial walk-in and truck-in ovens are designed to treat large batches of material at one time. The product may be loaded on shelves, on carts, or in bins. It may be loaded manually, by hand or by lift truck.
The ovens usually have two doors. These industrial batch ovens have a maximum heat rating of around 1200 F. Heating may be electric or gas.
These batch ovens have airflow that is natural (gravity) convection or forced air convection (horizontal or vertical).
