Bench and reach-in industrial ovens are for small batches of material that require heating. These ovens have a maximum heat limit around 1400 F. They do not require refractory insulation and are therefore small and light to be placed on shelves or benches.

Depending on size, they are called,bench, for the smaller and reach in, for the larger capacity. Most ovens come with two shelves standard even though most models can hold more.

These batch ovens are either natural (gravity) convection or forced air convection (horizontal or vertical).
