Separate islands are sometimes needed for grinding, welding or other processes that require isolation from other work areas. To remove and filter the air from such areas, complete air cleaning booths with roof, lighting fixtures and side walls are available. Some manufacturers sell only the air removal/filtration section. These can be added to existing enclosures.

Many of these models come with after filters which remove 99.7% of particles to 0.5 micron size. All units remove at least 95% of particles to 1 micron size. These units are not recommended for painting applications.
