Systems for automatic application of preprinted labels range from a simple addition to a conveyor of a label applicator or a print & apply head. Most systems are for label application only. One popular addition is a date code or sell/use by applicator in line with other labeling and sleeving equipment.

The systems listed here are for easy incorporation to existing lines. Most of the manufacturers listed have the capabilities to modify or customize their systems, if required.

The systems come in two configurations; in-line and rotary. The in-line system carries the container on a straight conveyor through the various application stations. In the rotary system, a star wheel carries the product in a circular pattern through the labeling section. This works for round product and makes for a more compact footprint.
