Compare LABORATORY CHAMBER FURNACES. Laboratory chamber furnaces are less than 50 liter size. Lab chamber furnaces have a maximum temperature range from 950C (1750F) to 1800C (3300F). To withstand these temperatures, these furnaces use refractory materials.

Chamber furnaces are cubical for use on a bench. All chamber furnaces have either a side swing door, a drop down door, or a vertical lift up door. The furnaces have a faster heat up rate than other laboratory furnaces.

Some furnaces have a muffle to keep the heating elements away from the product being heated. They have a double wall construction so the outer wall of the furnace is much cooler than the inside of the oven. They are typically used for heat treating, annealing, hardening, tempering, firing, drawing, and brazing.
