Strapping Machine

Compare STRAPPING MACHINES for plastic strapping machines and pallet strapping machines. Strapping is used in many applications where quick and firm bundling of product is required. Polyester strapping and polypropylene strapping are the most common materials used.

The plastic strapping machines are offered in 3 modes of operation. Manual machines (or table top or off line machines) and semi automatic machines are used in many packing applications where a variety of packages and bundled material are strapped on the same machine. Automatic or in line machines are readily available often with no or minor modifications for a specific application.

In all cases, a plastic strap 5 to 10 mm wide is fed around the product, pulled tight by a friction drive motor, and the ends of the tape are held together while being heated and fused together.

The manual strapping machines is a table top devices where the package is placed on a surface over a slot. The end of the strap is pulled up and around the package. This end is then fed into a slot which grabs the strap and pulls it tight around the package.

The semi automatic and automatic machine is a platform with an arch over it. The package is placed inside the arch and either by push button or automatically the strap is wrapped around the package.

Pallet strappers or unitizers offer simple solutions for strapping large quantities of products on a pallet. Pallet Strapping requires a large frame with strapping material that can withstand a high level of tension

The pallet strapper consists of a large frame. The load is placed inside the frame and the plastic strap is fed around the load. The seal of each strap is either on the top or the side of the load and machines are designed to do one or the other.
